Okay, so you'll have to forgive me right off the bat because what I'm about to post isn't necessarily a tip on living green. However, I wanted to let everyone know about a great event coming up this weekend at Lakewood Towne Center in Lakewood, Washington. If any of you readers live near the area you definitely don't want to miss this event! I am joining the management team there to celebrate H.O.M.E (honoring our military event)!! I am looking forward to it so much I wanted to write about it. The event will be held on Saturday, September 5th from 10am-4pm. It is completely FREE to you and will be packed with all kinds of fun and entertainment. We've got the miltary coming on-site with stryker vehicles, armour demonstrations and a rock wall. We've invited a nationally-recognized chalk artist, 3 live bands a DJ, 4 bouncehouses for the kids and over 70 prizes and giveaways thoughout the day. I'm heading up there tomorrow to prepare for the event and hope that you can join in to celebrate our brave service men and women. The city of Lakewood is surrounded by nearly 45,000 active military personnel.
